The William Jefferson Clinton (WJC) Scholarship program, a fully funded scholarship at The American University in Dubai (AUD), seeks to further the goals of the Clinton Foundation to strengthen the capacity of people in the US and throughout the world by meeting the challenges of global interdependence. The program provides U.S. students the opportunity to expand their educational and cultural horizons by studying at AUD. Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to U.S. Citizens currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at accredited four-year U.S. colleges and universities in the United States.
Selection Criteria
- Exemplary academic achievement (3.0 GPA or above).
- Preference will be given to students who show interest in Middle Eastern Studies.
- Sophomore standing or above.
Coverage
Clinton scholarship recipients will receive:
- A full-tuition waiver for one semester;
- On-campus residence in a shared-room.
Scholarship recipients are required to carry a full load of academic credit (12-16 credit hours) during each semester of study. Meals, textbooks, transportation and extracurricular activities are the responsibility of the student.
All the scholarship recipients will be required to make contribution to the program by generating materials including but not limited to journals. social media posts and service as a mentor for future recipients to further support and promote the goals of the program.
